Winch Installation in India

Fifteen years ago, a workshop in Peenya started building bumpers that could survive what India's trails dish out. Today Prad 4x4 is the name Mahindra trusts to arm its own vehicles off the factory floor — an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer with 45,000 sq ft of production capacity at Dobaspet and a retail workshop in Peenya where you can walk in, spec your build, and have it shipped pan-India in under a fortnight. If you own a Thar, Scorpio-N, Jimny, XUV700, Hilux, or D-Max and you're serious about the trail, Prad 4x4 builds the armour: expedition bumpers, rock sliders, fuel tank skids, snorkels, roof racks, roll cages, and jerry can mounts — 99% made in-house, no shortcuts. They supply to Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and North America too, which says something about the build standard. Walk in, spec it out, order online, or call the workshop. Lead time on made-to-order pieces is 7–14 days.

Azad 4WD in Hoskote, Karnataka, is a 4x4 specialist workshop offering services such as suspension and lift installation, winch and snorkel installation, and custom fabrication. The workshop also sells off-road accessories, camping gear, and roof racks, known for its expertise in expedition preparation and sliders and skid plates.

Azad 4x4 is a off-road & adventure stay based in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

If you've been to RFC India or followed the Indian off-road scene for any length of time, you've seen TORC4X4's work — even if you didn't know it. Jasbeer Singh set up the MIDC Chinchwad workshop fifteen years ago, and what started as a restoration shop for vintage Jeeps has grown into one of Pune's most complete 4x4 build and customisation outfits. The workshop handles the full range: a basic snorkel-and-winch fitment on a new Thar or Gypsy at one end, a full build — roll cage, MT tyres, steel wheels, lift, underbody armour, LED bars, recovery kit — at the other. Classic Jeep restorations are a particular strength; finding a workshop that actually knows its way around an old CJ5 or CJ7 is harder than it used to be, and TORC4X4 is one of the few that still does it properly. Walk in or message them directly to discuss the build. Workshop is at MIDC Chinchwad, near Pratibha College. Open Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Sunday, 10 AM–7 PM.
