Sri Maruthi Tyres is a full-on 4x4 build shop on Police Station Road in Kalasipalya, central Bengaluru — a one-stop bench for tyres, alloys, lift kits and the accessories that turn a stock 4x4 into a trail rig. Cars and bikes are both welcome, but the heart of the place is off-road. Their builds run the gamut of India's 4x4 favourites — Thar, Fortuner, Gypsy, Force Gurkha and Jeep Wrangler — kitted with named hardware: Ironman FoamCell and DR Nano lift kits, Phoenix alloys and steelies, JTI wheels, Prad and overland bumpers, and off-road rubber from Radar RT+, Arivo Rock Track, Patriot RT+, Yokohama OWL and RoadCruza. The 'Red Phantom' Wrangler and a Patriot-shod, FoamCell-lifted Thar are the kind of work that rolls out of here. Sri Maruthi also backs the sport itself — a sponsor of the Goa Off-Road Challenge (Season 6) and a long-time supporter of the off-road motorsport community. Billed simply as your one-stop destination for all things 4x4, with the builds documented on Instagram (@srimaruthityres) and the SMT Builds channel on YouTube.

If you've been to RFC India or followed the Indian off-road scene for any length of time, you've seen TORC4X4's work — even if you didn't know it. Jasbeer Singh set up the MIDC Chinchwad workshop fifteen years ago, and what started as a restoration shop for vintage Jeeps has grown into one of Pune's most complete 4x4 build and customisation outfits. The workshop handles the full range: a basic snorkel-and-winch fitment on a new Thar or Gypsy at one end, a full build — roll cage, MT tyres, steel wheels, lift, underbody armour, LED bars, recovery kit — at the other. Classic Jeep restorations are a particular strength; finding a workshop that actually knows its way around an old CJ5 or CJ7 is harder than it used to be, and TORC4X4 is one of the few that still does it properly. Walk in or message them directly to discuss the build. Workshop is at MIDC Chinchwad, near Pratibha College. Open Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Sunday, 10 AM–7 PM.

TyreBros is a 4x4 wheel-and-tyre shop in central Bengaluru, parked right below Lalbagh Metro — the go-to for turning a stock SUV into something with real road presence. Alloys, off-road tyres and heavy-duty bumpers, fitted in-house, with Pan-India shipping and wholesale rates on bigger orders. Most of the bench is Thar, Thar Roxx, Tata Safari and Fortuner wheel-and-tyre upgrades — Fuel 18" alloys on a RoadCruza 265/60R18 setup, Onyx 17s on a Safari, 18" and 20" fitments — alongside Black Rhino, HB and JTI alloys, Brazilian steel rims, and off-road rubber from RoadCruza, Radar, Wanda and more across the common 4x4 bolt patterns. Beyond wheels they fit the protection kit too — heavy-duty and winch bumpers, roof racks, rock sliders, bash plates and underbody guards. Their line says it plainly: don't follow trends, set standards. The work runs daily on Instagram (@tyre_bros) and at tyrebros.com.
